n 2009, Leader Medica obtained CFDA certification for cranioplasty and entered the Chinese market, establishing Leader Medica China.
In 2015, it also obtained CFDA certification for dental implantology, consolidating its presence in the Asian market. The CFDA is now known as the NMPA (National Medical Products Administration).
The development of the implant—featuring a converging neck and cortical blades—is taking shape; it is a project driven by method and vision, with a national patent granted in 2016 and a PCT patent in 2022.
The first international company are established — Leader Medica Iberica, Portugal, and South America — as a sign of thoughtful expansion that stays true to the company's values.
In 2023, the first Scientific Committee for Research, Development, and Clinical-Prosthetic Training is also set up.
In 2024, Dr. Ignazio Loi joined the Leader Medica project, contributing to clinical and scientific development.

Leader Medica acquired 3P Implafavourite, a well-known company in the market with the brand 3P Smart Devices and creator of the CONO-IN implant line with conomorse connection, a symbol of technological and design excellence. With this acquisition, the group's second production site was established in Pinerolo (Turin, Italy), strengthening industrial capacity and strategic presence. 3P was merged into Leader Medica as of January 1, 2026.
Leader Medica continues its international growth with the addition of the distributor Sabettimed for the markets of Hungary, Romania, and Bulgaria.
In November 2025 - The first 'Digital Implantology – B.O.P.T.® Leader Médica UV' Chair is established at the University of Valencia and is co-directed by Prof. Rubén Agustín and Prof. Berta García.
