BOPT PREPARATION KIT

Leader Medica's preparation kits for the vertical technique have been designed in direct collaboration with Dr. Ignazio Loi and manufactured according to his specific clinical indications and operating protocols. Each bur has a specific use in the different steps of the preparation, up to the creation of the prosthetic abutment.
The B.O.P.T.® is a simplified prosthetic procedure consisting of two fundamental steps: Space and Shape.

The technique aims to eliminate the traditional finish line through an extracoronal vertical preparation, so that the margin itself is dictated by the future prosthetic restoration, simulating the emergence profile and shape of natural teeth. The transmucosal compartment created after the sulcus preparation and the placement of the temporary restoration defines its finish line and the space which, after a stabilization period, results in a thickening and reshaping of the tissues. The vertical preparation is carried out using dedicated diamond burs of various shapes and grits, which define their specific use throughout the different preparation steps.
